I'm with tri boy on this one (but you all knew I would be).

Bunch of wankers challenging each other to cock measuring contests.

    Guys..

If they want to race are you going to be able to stop them??? no....
And you cant tell me you hit a 100 km road and when it says 35kmh for the next corner you actually slow down that much..

If you dont like the thread why read it.

He asked "who wanted to come and watch?" not
"if you have a problem please post as many bitchy comments here"

So let them be.. Yeh if they kill some one then they will have to deal with it huh.. and you don't even no what stretch of road it is so ....................

i have a good road up a certain mountain in mind, fingers crossed for saturday!

oh, the same guy really wants to race me and believes that his ZZR can beat busa's!

    im worried now!
My DRZ400e with enduro gears was good for 152kph, with tard gearing it would go faster. Could wheelie in each gear, including top. The SM is a bit underpowered to my bike but thats not hard to change. Got a better rear wheel slide from a knobblie around the courner but full power traction at times was also a problem. If you get beaten by the ZZR then you should be put on a step thru and give the tard away. But if the other rider is good, it could possibly happen but saying its faster than a busa just means hes a plonker...

Yea I took a standard SM for a spin and was most disgusted with the effort the motor was making. Was a dealership bike so I abused it fow awhile and took it back quick why someone would want the SM bike is beyond me, you'd look bloody funny as I blew past you on my E and Ive got the knobblies on. Have upset a few sportsbike riders on the twisties and passed them after being unimpressed with their cournering. Funny how they get upset when they see the enduro tyres., let alone they got passed by a smaller enduro bike. I allways thought it was an indication of their lack of riding ability, but we all know some are true legends in their own minds.

Still got your old DRZ400 IL4, there's something not so standard about it, much faster than any other DRZ400 ive ridden or we have owned (Owned another one at one point!).

Its a beast. Does good wheelies too! Like you say. Mainly been used for trial riding these days by my brother.

It had the carb and exhaust modified and that was about it. Was waiting until it died and then I was going to do the big work over with the race can/carb and all the good internal bits. But the bloody thing never died, even considering the amount of shit that I was giving it, just for being a yellow sucksaki.

go for it carver. be careful though - if the zzr has usd's it could be just that little bit quicker though

i can think of plenty of twistie roads with no kids/stock/tractors etc - i'm sure can too.
