    Hey Strike welcome welcome
Did my scratchies 8 weeks ago. Dead easy. Aced the whole test. 100% first time in my life at anything. Get the bike scratchies from a bookshop the AA. There are 6 (if I recall correct) in all. the will cost you $2.50 or there abouts each. money well spent. Just go over and over and over and over and over and over them. For the most part there are 3 answers that are just plain stupid and one that is correct. For me the hard part was brushing up on the road code in general. Been 40 years since I did my car licence so the road code got a good reading to say the least.
    After that GO FOR IT!!!!
Don't delay on the bike front. Sooner is better. I have clocked up 3600Km's in 8 weeks just can't stay off the damb thing. Even find myself going out at night just for a ride HOW SICK IS THAT!!! Dr's put me on pretty orange pills now as well as the little blue ones.
Unhealthy obsession was his diagnosis. Pills don't help at all but they sure taste good.
