    Arrow Choices...

It's about that time again do go and do it,again.
Due to where I'm currently working I've decided to go for either a 1098S or a '08 R1.
Sure this may sound like an "easy" choice between the two but as which ever bike I buy will be primarily(85%) for track days I'm having slight issues of abusing a near 40g bike to its limits with an inevitable bin in time....hence the new R1 option. Obviously I'd need to through some coin at it in order to get it humming just right...sounds familiar.

So...your opinions on which you'd choose and why but please remember the bikes application, track days.

Doh! R1, cheaper more accessible repairs etc, I prefer to have toys I'm not afraid to break.

However ........ I don't ride my 748 on the track as I'm afraid of repair costs, but I like it too much to part with.:slap:

1098s......only cos you would look to damn cute on it....
But the R1 would be a more 'in reach' bike at this point.
Im sure there will be more insightful reply's soon....over and out....

R1 wood be the sensible choice.

unless upon purchase you start to regret not getting the 1098. That wouldn't happen now would it....?

I really want to say the 1098, but logic dictatesthe R1 may be better. Not that I know fuck all but given the percentage of track work personaly I would have an issue with even the thought of throwing 40g worth of bike along the track.

But then some would say its only money, and you dont really need three meals a day

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round
