Bike thefts. What is going on?

just scanned thru the general ravings and saw at least 5 threads re stolen bikes!hell is this a sign that fuel prices are putting the pinch on car thieves and they have to steal more economical vehicles?

Maybe its a sign that some bikers have converted to the dark side. I feel a disturbance in the force...

    Lay off the curries then.

Yes,this is a really disturbing trend,I've lost count but I think around nine threads on this subject in the last couple of weeks. Is this a massive upsurge in bike theft or are people reporting it on KB more than they did?.Either way, one stolen bike is one too many.

God forbid this is an organised thing like in the UK.
    Oh bugger

Is it more bikes are being stolen, or more people on kb to report they are being stolen, or is it just co incidence that the bikes that got stolen are also kiwibikers?

either way you cut it, it sucks mega gay balls. stealing a bike, just so wrong.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

It's also quite interesting to note that the majority being pinched are high performance Japanese bikes.

20 years ago it was Triumphs and Harleys.

    Progress eh................

Its all a load of bollocks here if anyone thinks that the amount of motorcycle thiefts is increasing. We are just hearing about them now which is the only difference. Anyone who thinks differently clearly has no ideas. It does suck, but its the way that it allways has been. There is a good black market for bikes in NZ, so Ive been told.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

The force is rather strong with this one
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

I think bike thieves are the lowest form of scum that could ever exist. I'd like to suggest starting up the KB militia to show these testicle gargling, fatherless, abortion bucket climbing, scumbags they can't get away with it.
