Enjoyed your windmill shots cowboyz, specially as it is from my childhood area too but of course the windmills weren't there then!

I am taking the liberty to post a couple of pics of where I live now, on your thread.

Went out to have a look at the display of colours of the trees that occurs at this time of year all round here, thought I might share too.

Went up to the windmills right on dusk. Bit chilly but mint for trying out the new camera.

No. 1 and about 10 (the one with the bike, sunset and windmills in the pic) were the best.

Where abouts did you go to for pic looks like lake rotokare by Eltham,but ages since been there,you didn't get to Hawera today with a few others for a meal break about 2.30 isch?

Just looked it up,it was lake Ratapiko,kinda north east of stratford,not a fantastic biking road but boy what a road scenery wise,views of the snowy mt taranaki all the way round.It leads onto the forgotten highway at hikasmakaduck or somat.I could spend a week down there getting lost.

Nah didn't get to Hawera,you weren't passing through Inglewood were ya.Definately a Suzi 750 like yours.

Anyway,awsome day till the frostbite set in to me extremer titties.

Yep couldn't think of the other lake around Tariki,the road is roughish.
Nope was a wuss Sunday,stayed inside bored as,weather was shyte.Didn't even venture out for a beer either.
