Calling all current and former CDMTC club members!

I placed this notice in the events forum but it was deleted/transferred to our club's forum but that doesn't appear to get many people looking at it so I hope the moderators will allow this thread to stay here for a while as we're keen to attract the attention of former club members for the 25th reunion.

This has been advertised in Kiwi Rider and (I think) other magazines, but for those who are interested, the Central Districts Motorcycle Touring Club Inc is holding its (belated, should have been in 2007!) 25th reunion get together on May 31 2008 in Palmerston North.

Current club members will have their meal subsidised while former club members and guests will be charged just $20 per head for a slap-up meal. Bookings are essential and venue will only be advised to those who have booked and paid as we have to confirm numbers and cannot accommodate those who want to turn up on the night.

Those who are interested can email Andy at adventureride@paradise.net.nz or send me a PM for more details.

Please tell anyone you know who used to be involved with the club as we'd like to get as many former members as possible attending.

Bastard is right! I'm freezing my arse off as the lino layer is doing our bathroom and has the garage door open. I'd KILL for some sunshine but as I'm off to Auckland in a few days, the likelihood of that is remote!

The dinner is May 31 - on the Vic website it says there is a round on May 25 - which is this weekend, not the weekend of the dinner (which is actually Queen's Birthday weekend), so hopefully you can make it.

We're trying to track down a few members but don't have current contact details for them. If anyone knows any of these people or knows where we can find them, that information would be greatly appreciated.

    Tony Migo
    Kenneth (Spot) Ferguson
    Rob Morris
    Russell Watson
    Dave Skitt

And if there are any other former members out there who are keen to come along, just send me a PM or email Andy on adventureride@paradise.net.nz for details.

Sorry to bump this again but anyone wanting to attend this function has only a few days to let us know. The dinner is THIS SATURDAY night so get in touch with us asap if you want to come along. So far we have about 80 people coming so it's shaping up to be a good night. We have some founding members as well as plenty from the early years.
