new bike and about time too!!

After searching trade me for the past 4 months or so I finally found another bike for a decent price I think. 2000 model CBR600F4. A wee bit smaller than the ZX12R I was forced to sell (Reads way less powerful) but by all accounts and from what I've read a great bike. Interested to hear others opinions.
All I have to do now is get down to Palmy to get the bike and pay off the finance company that owns it. What a christmas pressie!!!

Congrats. Particularly popular bike at the moment it seems.

    Looking foward to some pics.

Sad you had to bail the 12r for a H***a ,but i think you'll find the 600 a lot more fun than the 12,they're just too bloody big and fast over here....at least that's what I found......

Yeah....it was big and bloody fast and veeery exciting. Still, I went from a 600 to the 12 and now back to a 600. They're much better around town. Though I don't know if the cagey's will enjoy my renewed ability to create a 3rd lane.........heh, heh

But I've fallen for a bike with lesser HP. Would one day like a fireblade, but only if I can keep what I allready have. :cool2:

    Finally got it!!

Well, can't say I was that encouraged when I hopped on the plane to go to Palmy this am to pick up my 2000 CBR600, sure enough it was raining when I got there.
Still, after having a look at the bike and firing it up, all seemed in order. Forked over the dough and set off back for Auck. Having not ridden a bike for the last four months or so I was pleasantly surprised by how comfy this bike is.
Wonder of wonders as soon as I got to Bulls the weather brightened and it was plain sailing from there on.
600kms later I am safely back in Auck having narrowly avoided a couple of Ticket writers. The bike is sweet, 3 pce exhaust system is even sweeter and the handling is fantastic.
    I'm in LOVE......

Damned fine bike. I had a 600RR until about three months ago - great fun, fantastic handling and oodles of power. Enjoy.

Everyone here at KB knows Honda's are the best built and most reliable bikes out there. Even if they can't bring it upon themselves to admit it because they own and/or ride inferior bikes
