    Sky motorsport channel petition

If this is a double up del it Mod. Other wise people sign it..Please….

The Sky Network is seeking signatures for a petition to start an All Motorsport Channel similar to the Rugby Channel. Go to

    http://www.gopetition.com/online/18717.html

and sign up for this fantastic idea.

They are looking at promoting NZ Motorsport like never before and show everything from your local Speedway Racing to the Big International Races and more.

You know you all want to sign up.

Details are a bit cloudy at the moment whether it will be included in the startup package or have to subscribe to it separately, but either way we need it in NZ.

Thanks for the heads up Craig...........

And you can bet they will want another $10 a month to watch it and if you don't subscribe you will not be able to watch any motor sport.

It's not sky wanting the signatures. It's some random guy that's going to get ignored.

Best to send your requests directly to sky.

But someone has to take it to sky so why not this Random?

I look at the good the TV did for the 4WDriving in NZ. Went from a minor sport to one of interest for the public. Same as Jet sprints etc. I know there was a down side at ground level but good promotion has to be good for all sport. NO I have no part in this other than I like the idea.

I'd support this if it was any of the free-to-air channels. Damned if I will pay good money for X channels of shit just for the odd thing I might be interested in.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Considering there is already a significant amount of motorsport spread across the present (digital) Sky sports channels (F1, MotoGP, SBK, Motocross, NASCAR, Indycars and local content shows - Fujitsu Motorsport, Katcher Pitlane etc), moving this content to a special interest channel would just result in Sky being able to call it a premium service and charge extra for it, as they do with the Rugby Channel. Sky is not a charity (as anybody who receives their yearly letter claiming increased costs will know).
