Good on him. And very great props to Mr X for giving him a chance.

We had a great conversation about this the other day, it was like he was blind-folded and spun round and round for ages; then someone suddenly stopped him, pointed in the right direction and he went for it.

He's leaving on a plane. He's doing it.

Best of luck to Mark. I must say, I'm pleased for him.

I truly hope that this will constitute an end to his unfortunately-publicised series of personal issues, and the start of a new and fulfilling chapter in his still-very-young life.

Well, as you're still here, deal yourself a good clip upside the head. On account like.

Thanks for the PM matey, could not reply for some reason or other...LOL

Make sure you pack your winter woolies, it will be chilly down there for sure. If you are not on KB make sure to email me or something to keep me posted on what is happening for you!

I have complete faith that you will do well. Big changes for you and very exciting too!

    Be good now.

Hey all you well wishers for Mark.
He will have access to KB via this computor, but limited access lol.
His new boss is expecting him on Monday at 7.30am, ready to head down butt up and work....Well on job training for the first couple of days anyway .
As for the cold, well Im taking him to the Army Surplus store on Sat where we will be buying some quality thermals, over pants, jackets and thick jerseys, pluss hats to keep out the cold.
I hope to get him along to the Susan Marshall Fundraiser starting point on Sat, so he can meet some southern KB'rs, then it will be a glance at the local bike shops before getting our supplies, some other stuff before headding up to Greta Valley.
For those who have been to the Greta bar & Caffe, there are a number of riders who live here in the village, so he will not lack for conversation re bikes.
I am sure his ears will soon be tuned into SH1 on the weekends, as my house is only 50m from it, and I hear every bike that goes by.
He will get to meet a really diverse range of people over the comming winter, from exchange students after a bit of cash, to old timers slugging it out to offset their pensions, he will get involved in many talks with these people who hold years of experiances they like to share.
I know I have had some good convos over the past summer
And there are some attractive ladies work there as well,,,,, who knows?
As I told Mark , when I first offered him the oppotunity, I dont expect him to do anything I cannot do, I think that will be a challenge for both of us.
To be sure we will let you all know how things progress, hopefully there will be some stories for you supporters.
Thanks for supporting Mark in this adventure......I hope I can justify that support
