Gotta agree with the opinion that its not the bike, its the guy/girl on it. I've seen pretty bikes (ie shiny, chromed to hell and beyond harleys) covered in muck, being thrashed within an inch of thier life. A lot of folks with harleys do seem to get caught up in the whole attitude thing. As a wise man said
" It aint what you ride, its how you ride it" ( or, the dodgy version, "its not how big it is, its how you use it )

man i look at dudes(and me in shop windows) in all their leathers and think "god dam look at that styly fella"plus i would rather come off at 200+ in full leathers than that plastic stuff people buy now days

I never venture out on the bike without being leathered n kevlared up, but I don't glow in the dark like those power rangers do. Unless I'm commuting to work, then I wear cordura kit. But that's only because I can wear my work gear under it.
