Posts like this should be recommended reading. Reading this is EXTREMELY sobering. All of us out there who have done stupid things on the road (myself included) or faced potentially disastrous situations like this, yet somehow managed to avoid any harm coming to them should sit there and realise just how lucky they are. For next time, we may not be so lucky.

I know what it is like to be suffering terribly in a hospital, not being allowed to leave and being consistently uncomfortable and in pain, being unable to sleep, and it was pure hell on earth. However fortunately for me what I went through was nothing compared to what FKNAmerican is facing. The attitude he is facing it with is very admirable indeed. Thanks for sharing with us man and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Another good update: Alot of the swelling in the upper part of my head (above my eyes) has gone down. Still look like I've been beat up by Mike Tyson below my eyes but above it I dont look like an alien anymore. Now Im just waiting for the bottom half of my face to play catch up with the upper part hehehehe. Also Im begining to think the huge battle axe scar I've got that runs from my forehead down between my eyes and ends at my upper lip just to the right of my nose actually looks cool. Heheheh.....nah Im sure I'll be pissed off about it again tommorrow........LOL. Jesus. Its pretty epic though.

Hope your taking photos, will be good to look back on them in a few years..
