Yeah come on man, I posted horrific pics of my accident last year. I promise I wont make an avatar out of your face
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Compared to what my face looked like not even 3 days ago I've made a massive improvement.......but I guess I still look like shit heheheh.
Meh. Don't let the reaction of some girl put you off going out. About a year ago I got fractured ribs from being knocked off my bike and the bruising was pretty spectacular. Luckily for me I could choose who I showed it to - but even people who were prepared for it would gasp and take a step back when they saw the giant black/blue/purple/yellow blotch that covered my side. And the skin wasn't even broken!

Definitely take photos because in a few weeks people won't believe you when you tell them how bad you looked. Once the swelling and bruising go down and you do a bit of healing you're going to need the evidence in order to get the same shock reaction!

I don't usually post in these threads (I guess I want to keep my head firmly buried in the sand, and I dont want to think about the potential consequences of an "off" on the road). But I have read all your posts and I am amazed at your attitude. good on ya.

And you went to Uni in Christchurch (I know the fish n chup shop you're talking about!), mate, you're a local!

As promised, the pics of my R-6. What you cant see is all the little stuff. Scratches and dents all over the tank, the left frame slider has been pushed in about 2-3 inches into the frame, the front forks are twisted and bent and the rear swing-arm is bent.

Bummer that you hit your head... otherwise you could have fixed that at the roadside and ridden home Lucky that the tool kit didn't go flying

Jokes aside, that was a pretty sexy looking R6!

hehe, yeah if I hadn't been on the verge of bleeding out with my face spilt open, several teeth missing, a mostly severed tongue and a possible broken neck I'd have ridden the thing home hehe.........

Actually, all joking aside I probably wouldnt have. Not sure if you can see it in the pics but all the front brake fluid is gone. Also the engine puked out all its oil and such not to mention the front forks are tweakend pretty bad and the rear swing arm is bent to the side slightly so that prolly wouldnt have been a smart idea even if I had no injuries.
