Yeah. Must be fun because I have to fight Mrs Oakie for it as she likes to pedal for about 20 minutes each night. Oh. Dang. That explains a lot.
And I suppose for an added dimension you could perch the exercycle on one of those vibration plates that seem to be the current fitness trend http://vibrationtraining.co.nz/?gcli...FRr7iAodySv9xQ and get a real buzzzzzzzzzzz out of the exercise.
Grow older but never grow up
my cowboy boots are steel cap. an ex gave em to me after i spent a summer breaking in 2 or 3 other pairs, lol. they are the same ones i was wearing when i was hit. pretty sure they saved my ankle. i dont often wear em as the inside backs are coming to bits and the bits are bloody uncomfortable to walk on... end up with dents in my heels, lol.
only down side with steel caps, is ya toes tend to get cold on long trips. my little toes generally go numb. dunno why.

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
I was wearing full gear when my VFR750 was written off by a u-turning drongo. My left leg got squashed between the bike and car, and was swollen and numb for a long time. My left heel was possibly cracked or summat; dunno - it was not X-rayed, as they said, "You can walk, so it's OK", (although "walk" was actually "painful hobble"). It still hurts some five years later, BUT I believe the knee armour in my leather trou, and wearing good StylMartin boots saved me from more seriouser damage. My current ones would have been even more betterer, as they have an inner boot with five CF panels, and a CF shinguard. I bought my original StylMartins, as they were the only boot at the time that had ankle cups on both sides of the ankle.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()

Tis not the heat it's the smell, pussy isn't supposed to smell like it does when it has been wrapped in cordura on a hot day.![]()

I wear jeans over my boots, I just think it looks dorky not to. (on me anyways) Although I do try not to wear jeans at all, mostly cordura, as I tend to get told off by other bikers but I think my arse looks big in cordura(jking... not a good reason to wear jeans).
I did have kevlar Jeans but they got too big and stretched over time, so I never wear them... was a bit of a waste of money.
