If you really want to make money - Silver jewelry is the go.... Over there, its not how many hours go into each piece. It is sold by the gram and is DIRT cheap! plus you can bring it home in your bag

Ive just read this thread again for the first time in weeks. Two things are hitting me in the eye immediately!

1: nobody who is saying that they are keen has actually PMd me or emailed
me so I have not kept you all in the loop

    and
2: the company in Delhi that we were to hire the bikes from has decided that
they shouldnt work with us as they already have a relationship
with another NZ tour operator and feel that it would cause a conflict of interests!

My Guide, Paul is is heading over soon and will try to resolve this personally as he knows the owner and the tour will be run NEXT OCTOBER as this has stuffed us for this year.

Paul will present the tour as a bunch of Kiwi Bikers organised by us rather than a Tour Company marketing tours in opposition to an existing operator.

Lets see how this goes- I will post results here

    sweet, maby next year then.

I'm thinking of heading over that way just for the hell of it anyway, I've been saving and have the time booked off, so I'll see how I go.

That sounds so cool, Lapis is a stone you only get in Afghanistan and chillie, if you find any of that in the local shops, that is worth a bit on the market.
If you are behind meDont ask as I am lost too.
