    Motomail

Hi all. I've been trying for ages to get hold of a catalogue from Motomail via their website but it never works, so does anybody know if they have a phone number, email address of whatever so I can get hold of them? Cheers.

    Oxymoron.
They do have some stuff which is priced OK. The convenience factor (usually plenty of choice) is good too. However, if/when Les gets a catalogue, he'll find it's out of date, as it took them forever to get it printed, and they've since dropped a few lines, models have changed, etc.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

Yeah I'ved had the same problem, I tried via their website, rang up and ordered it a couple times and still haven't got one copy. Ended up borrowing a copy of a mate. I wasn't interested really in buying anything off them as such just as a reference to look through.

You may have to wait untill the next catalogue comes out.

    Cool motomail catalogue...

The last catalogue book/magazine to come out had "2004 Catalogue and buyers guide" , but it never has a month date on it when its issued......
I have had this one for ages.... so the next one to be sent out must be in 2005..

I am sure when Phil owned Motomail we used to get two catalogue book/magazines a year....
Now we only seem to get one a year since it has new owners.

They send out flyers when they are having weekend sales etc....

    Unhappy Hmmm.... me too

I emailed them for a riding gear quotation recently and didn't get a reply so went elsewhere and spend several hundred bucks. Don't know whether I'll bother with them again.

On the other hand, their "specials" are sometimes good value like the RJay bike cover I recently got.

Sorry people, I've had not computer (big problems...) for a few weeks so wasn't on the forum to check the messages. Thanks for your info everyone. I'll just try and order another one thru their site, but sounds like they're not even there cos I'd sent emails as well asking about product and no replys. Thanks for your offer anyways Firefight.
Makes you wonder if it's worth persisting, but as has already been said it would be nice for convenience sake to have a good mail order source.

They (Motomail) have had computer problems too.

Their catalogue was released about 4 months or so after it was supposed to be, so it was probably out of date before it hit the mail.

They're better in some ways than they used to be, but overall I'd say they've lost summat. I still buy stuff there, but I get frustrated sometimes that they don't have stuff that's in the catalogue (although they can get it pretty quickly).

And like some others have said, their prices are sometimes higher (like $3 more for Spectro Chain wax, c.f. another store which I thought was overpriced), but they do have some bargain prices. We saved $100 on the vifferbabe's Raid helmet, which I think was a clearance price from the distributor.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

They should have their catalogue on that Interweb thingee. I've heard it's good for e-commerce. You can charge things to those new-fangled credit cards, and use those nice courier people to deliver things to people's homes...

You can update things instantly and, should you care, automatically, by linking it to your inventory software.

And they claim to belong to the DMA. Pah!

Sorry to hear about your computer problems, when I did not hear from you I sent the kat -a- log to Blakamin, I guess he will be putting it to good use propping up a table with one leg shorter than the others.
