it goes like fuck man, its hard not to listen to it calling, always saying 'we can go faster, you know' but I have been trying to harness that a wee bit and waiting till I am in the right place before I get abit wild. Gotta luv that "wild".

    Sing it sister!!!
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Which part of the country do you reside in?

Edit: Ah, I see your profile says Dunedin. I guess you won't be going to trackdays at Taupo, then. You could check out the frequent open days at Ruapuna, though.

It's your dream you now have it. Enjoy and stuff what others have to say.

Treat all that power with respect, ride hard and live long
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

Funny, I thought the same when I first read it... And I've got a clean mind...

Spend some time getting used to it, it's thrilling to move up, each time your horizons get a little broader, and the fun factor multiplies dramatically. Ride it within your limits, but you'll find it'll do anything you ask it to and more. The limits on the R6 and R1 are high, fun bikes.

You've already got a Gixer1000 in the house, so it's rally the perfect family.

It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

But now with my new bike, they all feel like I have stepped on there manhood and ground it up with my heel. My idol is Valentino, and my dream bike was always an R1, you would think they would be happy for me. Nevermind I am happy for me, and just think they will be able to check out my cute ass when I am passing them. hehehe.
If you worry about what others think you might not want to be here, really who gives a shit at the end of the day? Might want to hold off on the wise remarks though, anyone would think you could ride... Edit, sorry just looked at your pick. When I rode my 600RR I'd probably slow down to let you pass, maybe more than once. Until we got into the twisties anyhow...
