Having lived in Auckland and outside of it now I can say there's not much difference except for the traffic. Houses in other parts of NZ will still cost about 10 times your salary it's just that the salaries and house prices outside Auckland are about 1/3 of the salaries and prices in Auckland.
Crazy. Might go back to blighty, earn a mint and then come back and buy outright.

Got work man. Keep looking on Tardme to find something you might like, just take your time and don't rush into anything. Get someone who know's what to look for, you'll save yourself money in the long run and will be able to walk away from the lemons that you might otherwise not have known about.
