I've found, that if you put yourself in the line of sight of the cage behind you, they back off, they are trying to drive through you, so placing yourself in their line of sight helps.

That being said, do the crazy ivan, (counter steer at low speed), they back off in a hell of a hurry if they think you're about to fall off ... LOL

Out of all the cagers on the road I have found that 4 wheel drivers are the most aggressive and obnoxious. Thankfully, because of the clumsy size of the things they are very easy to stay the hell away from....... particularly from a standing start

I just discovered if I ride into the garage and do a crazy ivan I can turn around and get out without hitting the other wall.

Blackshear its using vigorous countersteering at low speed and makes your direction change very quickly indeed.... don't forget to look where you want to go.
