Has anyone else noticed how many CBX1000s are on TM at the moment?

Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
One cylinder is enough for any body. Water blasted Gerble and he's all good to go to work in 45mins.
The CBX1000 or Z1300 never really appealed to me at all. I found the CX500 more interesting. Tubeless tyres, liquid cooled, v-twin, short wheel base, shaftdrive, clutch rotating in the opposite direction to the crank, so ugly only it's mother would love it (anti-cool if you will), easy to service and one of the most comfortable bikes to ride long distances at the time.

Well bonez I agree with your comment on how the cx500 looks!Off the top of my head I can't think of any bike uglier.
Never too old to Rock n Roll.

I've got miserly tourettes and I don't give a fuck.
There must be quite a few CBX 6's still about. There's an almost identical one with 6 pipes in concours condition in Ngatea which gets ridden regularly. I don't know what happened to it but there was one owned by a spray painter in Leamington, Cambridge which had an 80's racing CBR1100 half fairing and race seat on. Looked amazing.
And for those who thought they were a pile of poo, don't forget that this was in a period when people built outrageous cars and bikes simply because they could! Like the Honda NSR 750 with oval pistons, The CX500 Turbo and Kawasaki Turbo. Brilliant times to see something a bit different appear.
