Unhappy Yamaha DT230 for sale SOLD, SOLD, SOLD, SOLD

    Hi All

I am selling my Yamaha DT230 Lanza, this is a fantastic bike to ride, will crack along a 100 kph all day on the road, they are 39hp, I would love to keep it but I am getting another bike so something has to go to make room, tried getting rid of my partner but she found her way home.

Details are 1996 model, 12700 km, electric and kick start, hot grips, rev counter/ hour meter, new mirrors, almost new rear tyre, very good front tyre, "power now" type valve, almost new chains and sprockets, probably done 400 - 500 kms tops, has an LED daytime driving light on the front, full adjust able compression and rebound on the rear shock, factory alloy rear carrier, motobatt battery probably 12 months old, these motors have lots of torque so easy to ride, also nice and quiet. it has a servo controlled exhaust power valve which works extremely well, holds the port closed at lower revs which increase the bottom end power but if you give it a fist full it opens up and off you go.

I have cut the seat down a bit for me being short ish, the seat is much more comfortable than the factory shape.

I have another set of wheels complete with tyre, sprockets and discs so you can swap tyres for the weekend in ten minutes, can negotiate on these.

Also have some bar risers 30mm, can negotiate on these too.

    If you are interested phone me on 03 327 5103 or 021 472 853 or paul@delis.co.nz

Thanks to all that contacted me regarding the DT230 for sale, I was amazed in the amount of interest I had in the bike, good to see motorcycling alive and well in NZ especially in the current economic climate, I have sold the bike, sorry to see it go, the new owner has bought a neat wee trail bike.
    Cheers Paul
