Exactly try on different gear, and shop around, its worth taking the time to get something you are happy with and confident in.

Street and Sport are having a pre-Brass Monkey sale this Thursday at 5.30, with bbq and drinks. Well worth a look, their gear is great quality.
This could be worth a look as they have some specials on, also don't forget Trevor Pierce, ok they have a smallish selection but great service imho.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Thanks for the advice guys! I ended up getting my gear from the guys at Street and Sport. Have to say they are awesome to deal with, had a pre purchase inspection done there and they were great.

They really are cool down there aren't they! Warm fuzzy

Went to the sale tonight, and it was just a lovely place to be hanging around in, someone likened it to a second home but I'm not that bad! . Sausage sizzle, coffee and company ... wanted to stay on. I don't get to shop too much, so bought myself a couple of wee things, plus they put a new brake on and pumped up my tyres for me.

They will be opening the shop up again next Thursday night if anyone is in the same boat as me and finds it difficult to get in during the week.

    Cheers for the help

    Tom
Get a Shark Helmet they are safe and well specced and cost as little as $199.00.

Gear get Ixon its great and well priced.

Boots there are some good prices on Oxtar or TCX at the moment.

Go see Don at Cycletreads/pit lane in Manchester Street.
