    KDX220 tank wanted.

    I'm still on the hunt for a 1999 KDX220/200fuel tank. Its the plastic one
    Ive hunted back in the historic threads and cant find the name of the wrecker that might have one.
    Can someone please give me name/ph no of possible options
    To see a life newly created.To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

    theres a couple of h series tanks on ebay if you cant find one local must be heaps of them around though seems to be kdxs every where

    Near as I can figure out the last owner lost the rubber bushes off of the frame. To fix the 6mm gap each side of the tank mr bright spark bent the tank mounts inwards thill they were flush wit the tank again.
    then justy to be sure the plastic WOULD tear --he cranked the bolts up till the bras bush in the tank turned
    give the bike a couple of hours and bingo -a fuck off big tear in thew side

    sounds like a real winner.

    so is plastic welding and a new bracket out of the question?

    what about someone like acerbis if they make a long range tank?
