    Talking Publicity

Over the past two days I have been talking to Mathew Dearnaley from the NZ Herald about our rides this weekend. He originally reported on the protests last year.

He is putting an article in the Herald tomorrow. He was full of questions, I only hope that he is kind to me and I dont come off looking like a dick...LOL.

He was particularly interested in the statement that was read out at the Auckland protest ride last year from Annette King, Harry Dynhoven and Judith Tizard and has asked the question what has he done about it to Harry Dynhovens press secretary today. He has also asked Transit what they have done to investigate the safety of road barriers as they promised to do after Daniel was killed last year!

I tried really hard to ensure that he heard that this was a positive ride aimed to the fundraising for our helicopters, with the added benefit of raising awareness of the CC issue.
