I rode Sandpit on Friday arvo and needed to do some service work on the RM before riding again. Missus had the day off so we went house hunting. Was still a little sore from my Friday ride so didn't mind.
    Wonder how Qkchk went?

I rode on sunday, interspersed with lying down, looking at the scenery and trying to catch my breath.....
Being a complete noob at this I have no idea whether it was a hard or easy trail but I enjoyed the red loop which was tight in places and had plenty of variety for me, what more could I want?
Well actually, I would like to actually pass someone rather than being mown down by all these faster riders....
I'm surprised at the comments about the $40 charge, it seems ok to me, the waitemata club ride this sunday is $35 for non members so it's hardly a lot more money.

Anyway, lots of fun and I survived, thanks to power adventures!

Hey! but Cam, there is a lolly scramble!!! you don't get that at the sandspit!! though and free BBQ ( sauasge and a bit of bread) usually. Although I missed that this time. There's not much difference in the cost for me with 4 kids. $85 for Power Ads ride ( I get the older one in as a kid) or $85 for sandspit as there too smart there to let the older one in as a kid!! and then ther's the demo bikes! Actually Botany honda brought along a new 250x this time so had a go on that to.
Having said that I think the sandspit is great and they've done a nice job to the tracks. I must admit I love hooning aound the superbowl. Would like to go on the WMCC this week but I'm down south for the company!

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

out at the sandpit at woodhill, after the exit from the big dipper the tracks split, the main track goes strait, a red track goes off up a hill on the left and theres a track the runs off to the right just before you hit the bush on the main track, follow that and towards the end there a red section which has a steep lil sandy hillclimb, if your out there talk to tony (ktmboy on here) or steve and they will probly know the one im talking bout.
