Bike thieved in Welly: Yellow VTR250, Rego 66YYH

Hi Guys, a mate of mine had her bike pinched from outside her house last weekend. She's quite sad

The bike answers to the name Buttercup, Rego 66YYH. If any one spots it around the place, could you please call Aneke - 021 259-9759

    Pictures Attached

    Much appreciated!

Edit: fixed rego, sorry about that.

I'm sure once the thief finds out it's name it will be returned forthwith.

In fact, it probably hasn't been stolen - it probably ran away from home.

So what's its proper registration? I can't believe somebody would have paid to get a personalised plate as boring as that.

A VTR with twin pipes? Or has the front picture been mirrored?

Will keep eyes peeled. Looks like a mirrored shot though because vtr exhaust goes from front cylinder like that down the RHS of bike. Also I think you can just make out the rear exhaust joining underneath. Confirm rego though.

it'll be found siting on the side of the roads somewhere. When the asshole thief actually realizes what he's knicked he'll abandon it.

Bike found, in pieces... un-fixable. Two people arrested, and an insurance payout on its way!

    Thanks for your eyes everyone.

Bummer about the bike, but at least they caught the buggers.

Was that frame a custom paint job? I don't remember honda bringing out a white framed vtr, looked pretty good too.

The second pic has been mirrored, you can tell from the writing on the tank.

A twin exhaust vtr would be pretty cool tho, specially with some nice open pipes on it
