    A HUGE thanks to...

    Frosty, Stify & Shaun

To fill you in, these three fine fellows helped me get my new steed safely to my door, not just down the road, 360km's away!!! I am glued to a new business at present & am lucky to be able to nip down the shops from time to time let alone travel any great distance so needed a hand. Never met any of these chaps before & they go out of their way to help a fellow KB'er above & beyond, true legends. Not only did Frosty check the bike out for me he acted as the middle man receiving the funds from me & passing them onto the seller at time of purchase (as I didn't want to transfer $$$ straight to a complete stranger prior to exchange), he then stored the bike over night. Stify then rocks up & takes the bike to Taupo were he passed the baton onto Shaun who bought it back here to New Plymouth

So when you next talk with any of these fine fellows be sure to tell them they are bloody legends

What a fantastic community we have here, looking forward to being able to return the favour to not only these three but to other fellow KB'ers

Na not a thrash, picker her up from Shaun's place (luckily just round the corner from me) & sheepishly tootled off down the road after being told off by Shaun for revving it too much at his place lol im guessing someone was catchin a few zzzzzzz's, woops. So yeah not far back to my place then went to get some gas & straight back.

Got an invite to go riding with a bunch of mates but couldn't go

Damn it was a wicked day too......sigh.....I can wait

A bit risky for the three musketeers that helped you out, what if something went wrong? Imagine if the $$$ went missing, lost or stolen...
I am very hesitant about "helping out" these days, after being burnt in the past.
You know, good samaritan routine goes pear-shaped.
I picked up a mates bike on a trailer after it broke down(Motoguzzi) and it fell over on the trailer in transit, yep...dent in the tank and various scratches etc.
Here was me trying to help and I ended up paying for the repairs.
Puts ya off "helping" people a bit.

Yeah the sound is intoxicating, fricken awesome, especially with RS-3 Yoshi's

Haven't riden her for long enough to be able to comment on the handling sorry Chris. I have done a HUGE amount of home work (trolling reviews, askin TK owners questions etc) & the problem was HUGELY blown out of proportion according to most TL owners I have come across. Not like the press to ever exaggerate aye

Yeah it is a bit of a risk I guess. Speaking for myself, if I am charged with looking after someones gear & I break it, im paying for it, no question. In saying that I am as careful with someone else's gear if not more so than my own for this very reason.

    Woohoo,let the tickets begin.
Was a cool day alright, went for trundle round the coast and back in darkness, not good the lights need some 50% 65/50 watt ones.Cruised up to Dawson Falls for coffee, then waited 30 mins before they said sorry no hot chips available, into Opunake for nice saussy rolls and another coffee, all up leisurely 165km,and found bike runs crap on reserve(last 5km home).Good company 86GSXR and Sarahtvet, almost convinced to by a Triumph.
