We were at Sugerjuice yesterday. Saw sme groups come and go, were you with a guy on a Blue Daytona??? Friend bought a brand new Hornet and wanted to go for a leisurely cruise. Even got wifey out for a change on her Purple Triumph, once we got it going - damn battery might be toast. A good day to be out and about, even better today!

That was us idiots, not my Triumph(bugga)was the Zuki, they dropped off one Daytona for a few tickleups, whilst that being done,we showed them the sights, went up to Dawson Falls and did both roads there and back(Wiremu/Opunake Rds,then down to Kaponga and back via Eltham Rd).
Decided to have a coffee and nibble before swapping bikes to be worked on. Them being from the Manawatu it was a great way to showcase the area.
The Hornet was eyecatching colourwise, your beast was getting my look of approval, the Triumph is nice good choice.Batteries are fun lol,had a new one and was discharging, took it back for a check, recharged and perfect.
Was about to have a chat but food arrived and when finished you'd left.Bloody good day to be out.Nice cafe as well, friendly and prompt service, will be back, shame same not up in Dawson Falls, mind you the temp changes up on the hill, was good when we left Opunake, little cloud, but once turning up Manaia Rd the cloud arrived, shame really as it looked good leaving Hawera early on.

Yeah well with him dropping his bike part way through he prolly did have a thrash around. It's got 4,000 more KM's on it than was lead to believe..........sheeesh, must of been on the long version of Taupo aye?

I took her for a (decent) thrash today for the first time, woot!! Wicked bike man, shit it goes hard. My father n law took it for a thrash yesterday, he has raced at Isle of Man years ago, he was well impressed with it.

Also bought some near new Yoshi cans for it yesterday so have the current Yoshi's up for grabs.

A public thanking is a good way to draw attention to some of the special goings-on, but mostly those that do the helping bit are happiest when the recipient pays it forward. That way, more people receive the good stuff.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Ok it's pic's time!!!

The colour wasn't my first choice but it is really growing on me now.

    British Racing Green FTW!!

The pics are taken with me phone so not 100% pukka. As mentioned I bought some near new Yoshi's yesterday so the current ones (in the pics) are for sale.

Would love to but can't see it happening unfortunately

But that's ok as I had a semi decent ride today & will get a decent blat in tomorrow

Love this part of bike ownership, learning about the machine, checking over every part making sure its just right. Up late reading the manual in bed. It's very enjoyable, I find it absorbs me totally & that is very relaxing.
