Not grounded, currently attempting suicide by trail bike which is proving slow and painful.....also off on holiday in June so just not around to go riding.
Mind you, when I am lying around in the tropics I can almost feel a burst of sympathy for anyone riding around the central plateau.

I will check with the commander.
Possibly another bach o/nighter in Kawhia.
I have noticed that my willy has "turned turtle" due to the climate, so "hard man" adventures are off the cards for me. (I now know what Chode really looks like).

    All sounds good.

As an extra incentive, now that I travel as one, I do have room in my panniers (next to my pillow) for a couple of nice bottles of red!

    next ride

welcome back Young1 - sounds like travels were fun

I'm watching this thread with interest - I had in mind another excursion back to Whangamomona and thereabouts - suitable for Jaffas and those of us from Wellywood - Kawhia sounds like a weekend and some leave?

cheers to you all - Aslan

PS and yes I'd plan on riding the leven fifty so maybe the 42nd traverse is out but I'd be up for doing Fishers Track which I did in March on my little DR.

    .
    Hi Steve how are you?

As I said I am happy to arrange an overnighter at the Whangamomona pub. Maybe we could explore a bit more around Tarata etc where we did not go last time?

Yes travel was lots of fun. India was certainly an adventure!!
