Learners Licence, Expiry date changes???

My understanding was that of 10 years from the date of your full licence. I got my car full in 2001 and expire 2011. Assume that when I get my bike one at the end of this year (hopefully) it will expire in 2011. Then 2021 etc....

Be interested to know the response from AA though

Yep, its fully a money making bollacks activity. Got a mate who got his full 1 Month before his licence needed renewing. They made him pay for the new plastic card for his full, and then again a month later for his renewal!

Yeah, but it wouldn't matter. If he has gotten his Full after renewing his license, he has to pay for the same amount only in the reverse order. I believe the payment for the any class/type of license is called an "application fee" or something like that.
