Scooter child wanting to become a biker boy

    hello people!

i ride a 06 suzuki burgman 250 and ive been riding for just under two years now. it is my first scooter/motorcycle and i bought it new. the 250cc version is automatic so its actually quite a boring ride and only looks pretty.

im wanting to change to a 250cc sports bike. and im thinking along the lines of hyosung gt250r or 08 kawasaki ninja 250r.

if you'd please be so kind to give me some suggestions on a model to change to or if i should just hang on to the burgman until i get my full and then move up to the kawasaki 650r.

I went through the same thought process after getting my restricted. I was riding a little FXR150 and wanted to trade up to a ZXR250 or something of the sort. I'm glad a waited it out, cos when I finally got my full I had anough cash to pick up my VFR which I love to bits.

yep agreed - however in the meantime look at the big-bores exhausts for the burgs in Japan.
Cheap and look and sound fantastic. I always had to do a double take when i was in Tokyo - thought it was a mean cafe racer coming down the road.

yea man. the reason i got the burgman in the first place was when i went to japan and say the skywaves.

they do some crazy mods over there. absolutely insane. too bad not many ppl here modify their scooters.

but thanks for all the advice everyone.
i think waiting it out would be the best thing to do. cos right now im just wanting to trade on impulse, not thinking things over

Patience! As has been sayeded before, you would be throwing away money by buying another 250,
