    Last ride B4 christmas

despite it looking a bit wet this am, a plan was hatched, Mr Jrandom, Posh, Milky and myself meet at AB papk, it seemed like half of auckland was there refueling there hoilday cages.

once again we used the tried and true, Drury, old GSR, Ramarama, Bombay, ridge road, tuakau bridge etc tec, a good pace by all, roads dry,

Quick stop at Naragwhia for gas, and back along west of the river to Huntly across to Rotowaro coal feilds, got a bit of rain on the way back to 22 on Hunttington rd, bit of wind on the top of the ridges.

Back to Tuakau and via Harrisville to Bombay, after a freindly chat from a import (off duty ) , one of our group headed off to catch the rush hour traffic for some lane spillting fun. the rest of us stopped for a coffee and a good chat.

Thanks for your company guys, great to finally meet you Dan, look forward to another ride with you soon. Posh & Milky good to catch up and chat, thanks again guys. Merry Christmas

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

Was a *great* ride. First proper back-roady ride I've been on. Absolute top props to Dave, he did a great job of shepherding my n00b self along, and obviously has the entire west Waikato memorised

And yes, you'll see from my post in another thread the precise nature of Mr Grumpy Off-Duty Copper's friendly conversation...

Would have loved to hang around for a bit with you guys and shoot the shiznit, but really had to get back. Swung by the office and got home by 6:10, no hassle, so 'twas one of the best Xmas eve afternoons I've had in a long time.

Oh, yes, and I was very pleased to note that the Zeal felt like it would definitely go faster than I pushed it today, so it should keep me happy for a while yet. Think I might click the rear suspension back a tad softer, was skittering around a bit more than I'd like.

    Looking forward to next time.

Yeah cheers for being such a good guide FF. T'was an enjoyable ride, if a mite damp on the way back. I was planning on heading elsewhere with TS, but His Randomness actually coming on a ride was too much of a rarity for me to pass up

Good to see more of the KBers out there too... bumped into Wonko and supposedly SP's bike at AB Bombay
