Correct; money you could spend on a Belltronics radar detector (you'll have to hide it well though) and the small change could go toward bullets for when you buy a gun and shoot the fuck.

Usually I'm up for a fight, especially when it's shit like this, but in this situation it looks like it's better to just plead guilty dude Not viable for the average joe to pay $100000000 in costs just so you can come out the other end with just a fine and not lose your licence.

At worst he will have to come in on a day off - which he takes later on, it doen't cost him any money, time or effort to be at Court, just another work day.....

    Shoot him?

Like all of levels of society - shoot one arsehole and another will take his place in the blink of an eye.

Assuming the cop WAS an arsehole.

Which is exactly why they win even when it's bogus. Fight it NOMIS, I want to see you win this.

We need a change to the law that makes an accuser liable for the full costs of the defendant if the complaint is not upheld.

So very true, they get PAID to fuck you over. The last thing on a cops mind is what he does with his time unless he's on traffic duty (and has a quota to fill) which is where this b/s began. He won't give a rodents buttocks about your time/costs/stress levels, which is why you should go the whole 'hog'. Hahaha.

Fight like a man possessed, throw everything you have at it! Go hard!

If these words he speaks are true, it's a given. However, this is not a cop-bashing thread, merely a means of showing support for the innocent among us.

Sadly the ones most against such a system are the lawyyers - and the politicians.

Lawyers are worse than politicians; they have brains. They use their brains to prey savagely on people's suffering and they have also arranged the 'system' to ensure they are needed in serious court jousts. I can't think of a lower life form.

I'd like to see him fight it and win it too, but it just doesn't seem practical

Starting with Doug Graham, tosser. He's made such an impression on me I couldn't begin tell you what he's doing today. I can recall that prick saying something like 'shoving a bottle up a woman's privates isn't the same as rape'. Remember that? Shoulda shoved one up him. (A bottle, I mean.)

BOT: Any indication how old the cop who started all this was? Newbie with a point to make maybe? Just a guess.
