well well well....I rode the little womans bike back to seddon for her today from Kaiapoi. Being a sport bike rider the first thing I did after picking it up and heading off was go to put my feet on the pegs.....and bugger me they wern't there....had to reach forward to find the pegs...

Was considerably lacking in power that Im used to having in my right hand...but soon got used to it and found it to be easy to ride...wind it on with no worries about lifting the front wheel or it suddenly jumping up on the cam's and ripping off....just a low down steady thump (as far as a 2fiddy can thump)....dosent corner like my bike either....lost the heels on my boots on the ride home.....bloody cruisers!!!!

Was a good ride...slow and sure...bloody cold and a lil bit damp.....no real drama's until I got back to seddon and stepped on the rear brake on the turn in home...and PING!!!!...the brake pedal fires up and smashed into my foot and locked up the back wheel....try to push it out of the road...very stiff so slam it into gear and ride it the last 200 meters home only to find the bolt that locked the rear hub in place had worked loose and when I stepped on the breake the hub spun and locked up on the cable locking the rear wheel. FUCK! Anyways....bit of time and effort tomorrow and it'll be good as gold again....could have been a lot worse.
Just glad Gizy has a nice bike to learn to ride and im sure they will both treat each other well.....all in all a really nice bike to ride....for a 2fiddy

Better make it another box of beer and get him to go over the bike with a spanner , not good if bits are coming undone !
Sounds like that was the sort of bolt that should have a drop of locktight on it ! How many more have been forgotton about !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
