Some politicians do have a use...

Sorry if in the wrong place, wrong time, wrong whatever but picked this up from another "more mature" bikers forum. Some details of an accident in Wellington on Saturday.

Seems that one Politician is worthy

"...It appears that the trailer may have come loose from the towing vehicle and swung across in front of him as he was passing another car, leaving him with nowhere to go.

His right leg was badly broken below the knee and will need ongoing reconstruction, which is expected to take about 6 months or so to complete.

His only other injuries are a few broken bones in his right hand and general bruising. Herman credits his riding gear with preventing further damage. He is also rather grateful to Ron Mark of NZ First, who was one of the first on the scene and kept pressure to the artery in his leg as he was bleeding quite a lot."

Credit where it is due. nice one Ron

note I have no fukin affilation or general liking of politicians so don't have a crack at me roight!

Ron Mark does come across as one of more saner of our pollies. Just a pity he lowered himself when 'giving the bird' in Parliment but then no ones perfect.

He does need a more successful party if he going to go anywhere.

I have to say Ron Mark was one of the only poli's to make sense at the conference I attended. I'll be watching him with interest. Great that he was in the right place at the right time.

Achievement is not always success while reputed failure often is. It is honest endeavor, persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.

Rod Barker rides a bike too, so he'd probably stop and help too!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
