The Zed Thou's a twitchy buzzy wheelie-mad little beast with no pillion accommodation worth mentioning. Cool, but not really my thing (at least not to the extent of wanting to own one) and probably not yours either.
Hey I might be bias but....fair call i'd say.

Put a slip on the FZ1 as soon as you can if you get one, i've just put an Arrow on mine and I freakin' love it.

I take your advice very seriously...even though you enjoy throwing bikes at the ground...

Hey I like it too, very much, but time has come, I have owned it longer than any other bike I have had. It will have to go to good home. I will put it on tradeMe as Classified within the next few days.

Oh, for what it's worth, I haven't ridden the current Z1000, just the previous model. Maybe Kawasaki's toned it down and smoothed it out a bit.

Whatever the case, get those test rides happening!

I want a new drug, one that won't make me sick, one that won' make me crash my car, or make me feel three feet thick.

For $14k you could buy a brand new Hornet 900 ($11) and take a trip to Robert Taylor with the $3k change. There may even be $ spare to import a pipe from the USA (too expensive here).

    My 10c worth is:

FJ - at that price its just to much for a old bike, should be 11 -12.
KZ - great reviews, but I'm not so big on origami styling and the mufflers suck.
Fazer - spunky in the naked model, great detail (check out the bar clamps). Ride one as some reviews complain about a weak bottom end

I'd be nagging Triumph dealers about a discounted Speed Triple as well.

I have this on my watch list as well....http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=157195809.... the Kwaka is out of the running to be honest...the need for two riding at times puts it at the bottom
