Yamaha R6
Honda CBR600
Kawasaki ZX6R
Suzuki GSX_R 600
There is only one choice for me and that would be the 675 triumph, sounds great, looks awesome, goes like snot, and handles amazingly.....
I think we all have personal opinions on this, biased by our own experiences and lusts......check em all out....and buy what turns you on. You will know when you get it right!
Wot 'e said.
I upgraded from a VTR250 - even the Ducati 600ss is spectacular compared to the wee Honda and the 5 bikes being discussed are all much faster than mine.
Get what you like because you like it - don't worry about what other people say - I get loads of shit for riding a pissy little 600 but I really enjoy my bike and so I don't really care (not suggesting for a moment you get a bike like mine)
In space, no one can smell your fart.
E: None of the above
Triumph 675 for me
(I wish)
=mjc=
.
Tested all of them apart from the R6 and 675, my favourite is the CBR. But I'm biased in favour of Hondas![]()
Religion is not the opium of people. Opium is
I'm out and out Yamaha man so I would say an R6,nice bike but sadly the 675 Triumph 2006 model is an absolute blast and I'd have one anyday.![]()
Depending on if you're after second hand or new, the Kawasaki is a very good allround sportbike without going to the extreme of some of the others, probably easier to ride than most. nice avatar by the way![]()
Buy an 06 R6 to look at and do track days or an 05 R6 to actually ride. Or an sv 650 if you'd rather ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. Easy aye?
Id have to say the zx6r for the fact that its got a good riding position does everything any other 600 does and its cheap! The 675 would prob be my pick for a road bike as well but i couldnt justify an extra 5k
Buy what you can afford, and what feels the most comfortable. Try out as many as you can.
My preference? the Triumph 675 of course
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
Try them all out and buy the one you like best. The CBR is supposed to be the most forgiving and easiest to live with but you will have to see for yourself.
Yeah I am looking at the gsxr. Reason i didnt stick the 675 on there is cause i knew everyone would say it ll. And its just a bit too pricy for me. Only being 19 and all
