    What is this bike?

It's a Harley something? No prizes for guessing where this particular one came from.

Green bling for the first person to revert with the correct answer.

I didn't realise they drilled the discs back in those days.....in fact when did they first start putting disc brakes on bikes at all?

It's well ahead of it's time. I've just been looking. The first motorcycle to have disc brakes fitted was Honda's CB750 in 1969. When is this Indiana Jones film set? 1950s?

I suppose it ranks up there with Steve McQueen in the Great Escape riding a German Army Badged Triumph!

Or the inline 4 noise dubbed over the Ducatis at the start of Blade 2...

Y'know, I think the foley artists actually amuse themselves by playing around with bike sounds. Especially in TV series from the 70s and 80s. My sons have got the complete set of Knight Rider episodes, and there's on in there with a dirt bike chase scene, and the soundtrack is variously a two-stroke trail bike, four-stroke single, IL4, two-stroke motocrosser and four-stroke parallel twin.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
