Damn I dunno if I'll be able to get any sleep tonight... just got home and need to go back to the office to do something that I'd forgotten to do, and have to pack after I get home... argh!!

EDIT: So do we need sleeping bags or not? I can sleep in my riding gear if needed, but I'd prefer not to.

    Good start

OK the CC Challenge has begun! Good to see some keen riders at dawn All yall others are pussies!

I just tagged along upto Wellsford (From Westgate to Wellsford took 2 hours!!! ). And they are hoping to reach Kerikeri around 3pm

Well yes I do have some photos, I'll upload them later tonight or tomorrow

I also have a short video clip. I'll try and add that too later

The start was good. Everyone happy and excited! I think Justin thought today was Halloween! (Will post the pic later )

Only challengers were Justin, Musicman and Big Dog (A100, GS(?)125 and the PMX 110)
The weather was OK but the forecast ain't looking good for tomorrow... Well best luck all of you! I'll get the champaine ready

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Kat said there were 7?? (or you mean only 3 bikes that are of a low cc?)

Just got a txt to say they've just stopped in a 'hick town' ?!... to wait for the scooter to cool down lol...

I think it will take a little (lot) longer to get to kerikeri than another 2 n a half hours lol

No oops I mean... the real challengers (whom actually meets the standar of the Challenge e.g. must not be able to cruise at 100kph etc...) were 3 lol

There were about 5 others unofficial challengers who rides GN250, Suzuki Volty, and ... a Maradeuwewererthingywhateveridunnohowtospellit.

Total of 8 snails lol you can catch up if you leave now lol I bet they are just below Whangarei
