    Kim Newcombe

When's this docu coming out on this guy? Damn, some of the snippets on TV look awesome. I see Richard Driver is producing so should be pretty good, as at least he knows one end of a bike from another, cool guy!
Here's some info on Kim and the Konig

I only heard about him recently (much too young at the time). Is there anything more on the net about him?

It's meant to be finished sometime 2005,they've been doing some filming in Oz with Rod Tingate(I think) who worked with Kim at some stage

Earlier this year one of the bikes he built was for sale on a UK classic website

yeah,it'll be great to have something on tape of another of our many unsung heros in motor sport.

As mentioned the Konig was used in sidecars for awhile...at one stage if you didn't have a BMW you couldn't ride a top level sidecar, and BMW controled the whole sidecar circuit....so the Konig was used to try and get around bossy BMW,until,um...um...Fath made his own motor, the URS.
