Hey guys and gals,
I'm new here, obviously. But I'm also new to road biking.
I started out in motorcross riding a Honda XR200 (Yr 2000), these bikes are great fun and were wicked to ride. And now I want to give road biking a go!
I have made a little financial plan and can spend up to $7500.
I don't like the idea of owning a 20 year old bike that I have no idea what RPM's it's been to (scary thought that these things can get around 18,000!) plus, that's my job!.
I only want a 250cc, nothing less. I don't mind if it's 2 or 4 stroke. I will be on a learner's license also.
Now I've been looking at Kawasaki Ninja's, their alright. I've also been VERY interested in Hyosungs, now I know that some people out there think that these things are total shit, but with a change of tyres and brake pads I can't see where they can go wrong. Plus I won't be doing any more than 115 km/h on the thing, so top end isn't a problem.
Bit about me: 6 foot-183cm, 82kg, medium build. (may help in which bike I could fit).
Any help would be wicked!
