Heard a story the other day...

...from a dude who's started an underground bike racing club with some of his mates.

Small numbers, very exclusive and private and (obviously) hugely illegal.

They reckon they're always on low density public roads, daylight hours and good weather conditions and they don't race the same roads twice in a year. Never bother with track days as it's too predictable.

Now, I'd never heard of this between bikers before and didn't know it existed. These guys could be full of shit but seeing how they rode leads me to believe otherwise.

Anyone here seen/heard/ridden with a group like this?

Nah mate, these guy's weren't talking about it, they were doing it. Apparently they weren't members although one admitted to lurking now and then for a chuckle.

He reckons we're a bunch of nanas hell bent on dictating how bikes should be ridden, instaed of actually riding them.

I wanna know if this scenes as big as they said it was or if they're totaly full of shit.

Might make myself some extra coin......

Good job I aint in this particular "Fight club" although, bit od publicity means more punters along with bigger purses. Probably more fatalities too.

Sound like a bunch of dead men walking to me.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

well if coin is invovled they must be a bunch of nana's.
Met quite i few groups like this, they usually are all $$$ no cents.
I taught i few guys in aucks wot a real cafe' racer can do, when they tried theyre dukes on the GB. It was too easy, it was sad.
So if your a good rider (im shit ), try em out - and if they ban you, you know why

Arrow Too many kazaa clips on stunt riding I reckon.

From experience those who are up to this sort of activities (i.e. the illegal type) do not go around boasting about it. Rather they say nothing and carry it out in general secrity. If this does occur then I would have my doubts about those who are gloating about it. I misbehaved a wee bit when I was a teen and one of the rules was say nothing and trust nobody. In the end the paranoia killed the racing and it pretty much dissolved. We were not on big bikes (2 stroke 250cc) but just there for fun. Its when the poeple who want to be big headed arrive that it all turns to custard.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

Shit wonder what gave it away?, was it the thread, 'helmet hair advise'?, 'what prety lights suit my bike'?, or 'i'm feeling queer today i'm painting my bike pink'?.

I still come here for a good laugh, cheers everyone.

Heard from a few myself. Never stays secret for long. The giveaway is when they trade their leathers for a coffin (the 'underground' bit). GuessWho did a song about these people way back - called it 'Road Food'
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
