You tell porkies mate! That can not be the beloved snail ex random styles. If it is you are a miracle worker! What a lovely looking machine.

    Top job!

well MOST of it is indeed the ex random bike. Less about 5mm of rattle can paint that needed to be scraped off and an inch of oil n grease n stuff.
The gremlin pretty quickly sorted out the back shock for me-Shaun the majician.
So as it stands the bike is almost there ready for the big reveal

    hey Frosty,

I just did a search for bits of my old SRAD 750, I thought I had a manual and some other pieces as well. I think I still have an ignition box/ecu, will check the storage unit. I had the stock pipe, and a spare tail/seat cover - can't find them anywhere, but everything is boxed up for the LoveShack renno's going on at the moment.

Yours looks fucking excellent, the grey shows off the curves really well. I still reckon the GSXR750W or X is one of the best looking bikes of the nineties.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

You wouldn't know it from before! An extreme makeover, to be sure.

ps - well done to Frosty for getting the grammar (if not the spelling) correct!!
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Sorry folks a bit of a double entendre. Escargo was a car shaped like--well a snail. It was desighned to carry loads round the city.--The name sorta fits.

This the 'srad' you are after? Obviously the black will have to be either white or silver...
