    Bikeshop customer comforts

I arrived at AMPS last Thursday for the Voxan's 5000km service dripping wet from the ride up from Tauranga and I'm sure I'm not the only water catchment zone to ever cross their threshold.
What? No drying room? No coffee or tea on offer? Cagers get better treatment. So are there ANY bike shops that offer such creature comforts?
I'd be keen to hear others views on this topic.

That aside, the Voxan feels like she's receive a fair bit of pampering, and that original 40 tooth sprocket has made the bike far more user-friendly, particularly on decelleration.

Don't get me wrong AMPS, I appreciated the good service you provided, but for one of the largest and "out-there" bike shops in the country I feel you could do better. Cheers, and thanks for being friendly and helpful.

Phil Turnbull in Palmy Nth have a coffe machine on the boil all the time, comfy couches, and bike mags to read. Full of top blokes as well.

Last night I popped into WMCC to buy some tyres and got a steinlager and a BBQ. I also drink more coffee in there than I do at home.

You couldn't have come upstairs. There's free coffee, tea, cappuchino's, hot chocolate, Comfy couches, magazines, a variety of DVD's (rear projection TV).
Not to mention the stimulating conversation of my colleagues and I.
I confess to the lack of a drying room, but our blindingly efficient service means that you're not here long enough to need it.

Would've been nice if your customer service was such that someone pointed that out to The Wiz. How was he supposed to know? :spudwhat:
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
