Now THIS is a real riders bike!

A 125kg, 68hp single cylinder road bike that'd tear new arseholes in most litre sport bikes on the twisty canyon and mountain roads most of us say we love the best.

that's my kinda bike; pity they're so bloody expensive.

I like the look of your bike a lot more.

I like the sound of the rumoured single cylinder Ducati 548. Basically half a 1098 in a scaled down package.

I think there's a race class starting up in the US using 450 singles from the Jappas in custom chassis'.

I always thought that Suzuki should have made a 500cc Goose rather than the little 350, as it would have been a great cafe bike! These would be real fun on the Coro...

Too bloody right mate. As an ex Goose owner, the handling is awesome they just run out of puff a little early.

yeah, i had TWO new KTM's on order but the importer shat on its customers so I canceled them both.

In fact I'm thinking of putting Honda stickers on the tank of my 950SM

I haven't heard the rumour but I had a (new in1974) 450 Desmo single for a couple of years and it was great - all my mates wanted to swap when we went for a ride. It was a lovely metalflake silver fibreglass single seat, tank, front guard. It had rear sets and clip ons, alloy rims twin double leading shoe front brake Cerani forks.... It was a beautiful thing and the ONLY bike I've ever owned and didn't fall off !!! Performance was about the same as a 350 suzi of the period but the sound was gorgeous !! Someone offered me $200 more than I paid for it new ($1200) so I sold it to him What a dumb bastard I was ( maybe still am

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be ......
