Conclusion: Keep it. I'd rather have my Gixxer.

You loose, game over, thanks for playing.
Actually, you loose. An R1 would smoke your dumb Suzuki any day. The reason you hate it is coz you couldnt handal it.

I hear you....but sometimes you have to try new things and to settle the mind that you are on the right machine for the complete motorcycling experience.

    All bloody right

    1. Pretty bikes are for people who like pretty things.
    2. R1 smoke a Suzuki? Who f*ing cares, and, I know a certain someone on a 250 Jade who can "Smoke" me on my R1. TheKnightRider, I don't think your personality is compatible with the level of maturity this board maintains. See ya...
    3. I don't want VTWIN to get a gsxr 1K, WHEN I do keep up with him, it's only because of my straight line speed! Please sign the attached petition to keep VTWIN AND Velox from getting faster bikes :P
    4. WT, I'd like to come and te$t ride a bike or two $ometime $oon, hope that'$ ok.

You'd have to wonder if R1's are that good why sell it when it is so new . May have riden a GSXR & realised what he was missing out on

For what it's worth, Kiwirider magazine (thanks Kerry very much) has the R1 as its sports bike of 2004. Highly commended to the ZX10R. No sign of the parts-bin special, oh sorry, the GSXR... (mind you, that yellow pearl is a nice colour).

This survey is based on a detailed questionaire that is available on-line so I`ll give you guys the link next year,it`s split into loads of different categories and covers finish, ease of maintenance, tyre life, reliability, performance and a whole list of other stuff. It`s not RIDE that does the ratings it`s the people who pay out good money on the bikes.Often turns up some interesting results and often older models will out-score newer ones, highlights weak points of particular models as well.
