Most of the brands mentioned are good.
Re the tyre wear/grip - My experience has been that the right suspension settings for my weight and type of riding were my first port of call.

Unit/DMNTD are 14 owners and rate the original Powers. They got 12,000ks. In fact most of the Busa owners I know also rate them.

    depends on your riding style

the pilotroad2 is an eccelent allrounder

m3's are aimed at a more performance oriented usage, but they last well.

    they would be my choice
I call it like I see it. Don't take it personally.

I really like the Storm's as well, but my next tyre will probably be the PR2. Not that I don't believe Hitcher, but it's something I need to check out for myself. Pilot Powers are great, but I only managed 4500km out of the two I've had!

Thanks for the input team. After much constipation...opps...you know what I mean, I opted to try out a pair of Pilot Road 2's. Haven't had a chance to get out on them yet but will keep you posted on how they perform and hold up to the abuse. Thanks again....Scooter

have done about 6500 km on my rear now and it should go another 3 or 4 k yet

Just bought a 14 myself and would be keen to hear what you think of the PR 2's so far.

I've got Pilot Road 2's on the R1 (not that it's a brilliant comparison to the 14 but I'm still having my say!). They're a really good road tyre is all I can say. I've never run out of grip on them and they warm up real fast.
