Aawwwww, cheers...keep this up and I might have to ask you to be my friend

Aaaannyway...I've never much understood why anyone would do a runner personally. I mean you got a few chances that the cops will have your number plate by the end of it, and so you got to sweat like a pig on a stick ('scuse the pun) while you await the generally much justified arm of the law to descend on your scruffy biker's neck...

AND you help give us all a bad name...

*but I can understand it'd be quite a rush though*

Sounds like one of lifes intelligent being. He has probably read the numerous press reports of cops giving up the chase when speeds get up,or traffic situations endanger people. He must of been sufficiently intelligent to realise this,as he sped up,had the endangerment of people(pillion),therefore hoping the cops would abandon the pursuit, doh they didn't.

And he got off relatively light fine and disqualification wise, considering the charges.

    Mortified to hear this

Now are you sure the Herald got the CC rating right. They may have meant a 100cc.
Either that or half his pots were cooked

Com'on, if he and his wife had hung off the bike on the corners they would have left an HP for dead..... surely????
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

6 months loss of licence!!! what a bloody joke....what happens if he came off at some stupid speed and this twat(the idiot who is at the control of the bike) some how survives the big bin and kills his wife!!! Doesnt bear thinking about our so called effective justice system.

If I was the cop who eventually pulled that guy over I would have given him a great, manly blowjob for being so awesome. Seriously.

But this is what gets me about our judicial system, he gets a light fine and a 6 month loss of licence, if the took his licence for 12months and one day he would have to fully resit his licence, but now in 6 months hes back on the roade, being a accident waiting for some one else to happen. and it might be a loved one near you.

I reread the article and I now think that it wasn't the speed that is the issue here. It was the riding like a cock. Overtaking recklessly, turning across oncoming traffic all with the missus on the back. The speed is just another bad judgement call on top of all the others.

If the only thing he does when he gets back on the road is slow down he will still be a big risk to other road users.

There's an assumption the decision to run was his.

"When signalled to stop by police, Forlong initially slowed but then sped off towards Te Maunga rail crossing."

Ladies and gentleman of the jury I put it to you he was going to stop then the kidney punching and screaming started "If you ever want sex again you better outrun these bastards!!!"

    hahahaha

Well at least if he ever want sex with her again.

Other possibilities are always on the horizon.

Hardly worth trying to run... They only have to see your rego and you are screwed!

Go home and Mr Plod will visit when it suits him.....

Million dollar question is... Did they get your rego?... Or didnt they.....
