Hahahahaha - thanks for the encouragement and laughs everyone, really enjoyed the responses! almost feel guilty having so much fun on a weekday. Very sorry to hear about Michael but very glad that he's basically ok. I took it really easy over those damp spots after I spun the rear up on the 15 km/hr corner on the western side of the hill. Don't think it's dried out properly for quite a few days and is getting slimy.

Take care out there everyone and don't forget to call in for cake and a cuppa if you're up this way! Also got bed space for those who are further afield.

I suppose you'd think it cheeky if I booked that bed space for a long weekend in November for my seven kids and the dog. They eat like a plague of locusts mate so if ya could stock up a bit that'd be cool.

Yeah, did an hour and a half ride to my favourite hilly twisties yesterday and they were covered in muddy wetness, more of a survival exercise than a pleasure ride. Watch them roads me lovelies.
    Oh bugger

The offer is only open to bikers. With 7 kids, you clearly aren't out of the house long enough for much riding of the 2-wheeled kind

Awesome pics BB, awesomer bike.. Don't worry mate, I still hold great sentiment for mine. Everytime I pass one I think "One day, I'll be in a position to really use a bike like that, and one day, it will be mine once again." *sob*

Glad you are enjoying your retirement! I'm still planning on coming to see you even with a different bike, so you can show me what I couldn't do on the 'bird!

Gah, I was just discussing this with Miss X the other day; how to get rich really fast then retire somewhere like the Coromandel or Raglan and just live life

    Lucky, lucky bastidge!
