Don't think so but the black plain Bonneville is made in Thailand ! Not the TT100 or Bonneville America

Quality of the fabric, and stitching bets the pants off Chinese, and most European products)

As long as the local factory strictly adheres to Hinckley's Quality Control standards they can make their parts anywhere for all I care.

I'm just happy they are making bikes.

    Bloody good ones too.

    Show ya ?
    What shocks ppl perhaps !
Don't stand too close to the edge of the platform Rastus, a train might come along and suck you off !!
Not that it really matters where the parts are fabricated now days !
Asian made motorcycles have had it over the western made bikes for years, when it comes to reliability !
Guess it was inevitable that it had to go that way !!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Also the German crank/rods, n other internal bits. The tooling from Japan (kawasaki) to make the Hinkley engines, yeah they are real British bikes.......not.
    (and thank goodness for that)
Bloor and his marketing dept has done a good job selling a historic image, no matter how irrelevant it is.
