Mate... thaaaaaaat aint nothing like a Guzzi, no cam in the head of a 2valve and in the 4valve which is a OHC its the weirdest thing ever as the cambelt drive isent transverse with the cams.... well rocker shafts actually 2 of them and they are driven at right angles to the rocker shafts.Originally Posted by Blakamin

Na no bevel.... hard to explain (trying to find exploded pic... but when ya want something) if ya can see in the pic below the top of the cambelt can be seen above the header.... the cam is in the highest point of the tappit cover (above spark plug) at right angles to the cam there are 2 rocker sharfts with one tappet on each.... but these tappets have a double lever set up as one tappit pushes 2 valves.Originally Posted by Blakamin
So its kinda both a cam and rocker set up if Guzzi had the intake on the inside of the V and the exhust on the out side (like Duc) then it would not have been a problem.... but it would look bloody silly, but believe it or not....... the new water cooled guzzi block does have the headers comming out the sides of the heads.

Holy shit... talk about tryin to be different!!!!!
It is different but having said that the difference with the 2 valve 1100 and the 4valve 1000 is 90-102Hp in favour of the 1000ccOriginally Posted by Blakamin

I'd definately have one.... after all, its still a twin, its still italian.....looks very good, has curves... whats not to like???
They dont wheel stand very well.......... I missed out on one of these in Oz it had all of 3000k on it, damn I'd kill for one, compleatly different feel to the 2valve (see my profile) only 300 RS's built 1700 sports.Originally Posted by Blakamin
