    No the camshaft pushes the bit that pushes the rod that... Oh never mind (sigh)

    yeah your right, but its the cam chain that rotates the camshaft pushes the bit that pushes the rod that... Oh never mind (sigh)

    My favourite as well,but all the best Ducati's had bevel drive to the rocker gear the rest had rubber bands

    Na no bevel.... hard to explain (trying to find exploded pic... but when ya want something) if ya can see in the pic below the top of the cambelt can be seen above the header.... the cam is in the highest point of the tappit cover (above spark plug) at right angles to the cam there are 2 rocker sharfts with one tappet on each.... but these tappets have a double lever set up as one tappit pushes 2 valves.
    So its kinda both a cam and rocker set up if Guzzi had the intake on the inside of the V and the exhust on the out side (like Duc) then it would not have been a problem.... but it would look bloody silly, but believe it or not....... the new water cooled guzzi block does have the headers comming out the sides of the heads.

    It is different but having said that the difference with the 2 valve 1100 and the 4valve 1000 is 90-102Hp in favour of the 1000cc
    97 Daytona RS below, same rolling frame and body work as the 1100 sport, hot, hot, hot

    I'd definately have one.... after all, its still a twin, its still italian.....looks very good, has curves... whats not to like???

    They dont wheel stand very well.......... I missed out on one of these in Oz it had all of 3000k on it, damn I'd kill for one, compleatly different feel to the 2valve (see my profile) only 300 RS's built 1700 sports.
